As the precast parking decks installed since the 1970s and 1980s begin to age, there has been an increase in the  distress and repair of precast, prestressed parking decks. This presentation will focus on pre-topped, double-tee systems and flange-to-flange connections. Distress commonly observed in double-tee decks and various repair options that have been implemented on parking structures while in service will be reviewed.  A case study will highlight double deck repairs to address a partial collapse, significant cracking in double-tee flanges, failed connections, various types of repair techniques, and water leakage.
